Classes & Workshops for Schools
Dance P.E. Lessons for EY-KS4:
Love Dance can deliver dance under P.E. for Reception through to KS4 at your school. The sessions are delivered in your students usual P.E. lesson and can be booked as a one-off session or a series of sessions.
One-Off Lessons:
One-off lessons provide children with a taste of dance and will usually focus on a specific dance style. This could be anything and we can work with your teachers to create the perfect themed lesson!
P.E. Series Lessons:
Our P.E. series lessons for Reception run in a similar format to our Early Years Sessions (info in block below). For KS1-2 they follow founder Emily’s 6 step model for Primary dance. Students will explore a theme as a class and create a dance routine that can be performed at the end of the series.
For KS3 & 4, the series of lessons allow students to delve deeper into the dance style they are covering, or look at a number of different styles. Students will practice a range dance skills and form an understanding of how to create successful choreography.
Fees:
Reception: 30 minutes (up to 12 students) £30 for one, £75 for 3 and £150 for 6.
KS1-4: 45 minutes £50 for a one, £135 for 3 and £270 for 6.
We also offer a 10% discount if you book for all year groups.
Early Years Dance Lessons:
Love Dance has a specialised series of Early Years dance lessons created by Founder Emily. Emily has delivered dance for ages 2-4 years for over 10 years and has now developed lessons plans for delivery within a Nursery or Pre-School setting.
Dance and Movement Sessions:
Each session is 30 minutes in length and is based on a unique theme from a trip to the seaside, to a woodland walk or even a trip back in time to the land of the dinosaurs! Students will be guided through a range of dance based activities using beautiful props and engaging music.
The sessions are the perfect way to get your youngest students moving and their imaginations running wild!
Fees:
Sessions are 30 minutes in length and are priced at £25 per session. Sessions are limited to 12 children per session to ensure all students can get the most out of the class.
Story-Dance Workshops:
Love Dance has a range of Story Dance workshops available for your students. These workshops use dance to bring the themes of a classic story to life and are the perfect way to capture the imagination of all children. Perfect for World Book day or throughout the year!
Set Workshops:
We currently a range of set Story-Dance sessions available that cover themes of the farm, the woods, Sports Day, Halloween and Christmas.
Customised Workshops:
Love Dance will create a custom workshop based on a theme/story of your choice! Get in touch with your requirements and founder Emily will develop a bespoke session just for you!
Fees:
Pre-school & Reception: 30 minutes charged at £25 per session (12 children per session)
Years 1 & 2: 45 minutes charged at £50 per session (20 students per session)
A £50 flat fee is added for bespoke sessions to cover planning and resources.
Holiday Camps:
Love Dance can work with your school to provide dance to children during the school holidays. We understand that the holidays can be a tough for working parents to manage and holiday clubs are becoming essential for childcare. Why not use this as a way to bring quality dance experiences to your students?
Camp Sessions:
If your school already provides a holiday camp but you’d like to include some dance within it- this is for you! Love Dance can provide camp individual classes in a range of dance styles for all ages.
We can also offer full days of dance for students, allowing them to gain even more experience. Get in touch to explore options!
Fees:
Sessions are priced at £50 per hour. A full day of dance is priced at £300 (based on 9-5pm with 1 hour break).
