Who we are?

Love Dance Company is a performance company for young dancers aged 8-18 years in West Oxfordshire. The company is for passionate dancers who want to develop their skill and artistry, gain performance experience and give back to their community.

The company will meet weekly to train and rehearse; producing choreography throughout the year to perform at local events within the community. Performances will range from charity events and local festivals to some larger scale performances throughout the year, giving its members the chance to perform of professional stages in the UK.

The aim is to spread joy through dance within the community while also supporting young dance artists in the area. Founder Emily is passionate about the benefits of dance for young people and wants to create a company where students feel valued and can be a part of the choreographic process.

Company Requirements

Members of Love Dance Company must be between ages 8-18 years and attend weekly technical dance training either through Love Dance Academy or at another local dance school.

The company will meet weekly for 2.5 hours. The time is split into 1 hour of dance training and 1.5 hours of rehearsal. Dancers are expected to attend every session except for illness or emergency.
